Organic production is an overall system of farm management and food production combining best environmental practices, a high level of biodiversity, preservation of natural resources and the application of high production standards corresponding to the requirements of some consumers who prefer products made using natural substances and natural processes.
The organic production method therefore plays a dual social role: on the one hand it supplies goods to a specific market shaped by demand for organic products, and on the other hand it acts in the public interest because it contributes to environmental protection
